Key Assessment Week Task

30 Credit Media
LO2 - Understand the styles, conventions, and techniques of music videos

LO3 - Be able to originate and plan a music video production for a specific music track

Part 1

Using your knowledge of camera shot types learnt in the workshop last week; storyboard a short sequence consisting of a minimum of 8 shots. You should choose from the following simple scenarios:

*Enemies meet

*A relationship has ended

*Back together

*Family ties

These must include a range of shot types that you have studied, including close-ups, mid shots and an establishing shot.

Also, at least one of your shots must include a zoom, and another shot must be a panning shot. Make sure you carefully select which shots these are to ensure your sequences are as effective as possible.

Your storyboard should include detail about the shots framing and any camera movement, as well as stating the locations you will be filming.

Part 2

*Carefully film your shots, following college guidelines.

*Upload your footage to your student drive.

*Edit your footage and add music to complete your project and upload to your blog.
